Peach Journey ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use the Peach Journey app ("App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Data Collection

1.1 Data Types Collected

Our App collects a limited set of data to support its functionality and to provide you with an optimal user experience. This data is not linked to your personal identity and is stored locally on your device. Specifically, the following data types may be collected:

  • Coarse Location: Used for app functionality and aggregated analytics.

  • Identifiers: Such as User ID (a randomly generated identifier not associated with your real identity) and Device ID (a unique identifier associated with your device, not linked to your personal identity), used for app functionality and analytics.

  • Purchase History: Information related to your in-app purchases and subscriptions, processed by Apple's payment system, used to manage subscriptions and for analytics.

  • Usage Data (Product Interaction): Information on how you interact with the app (e.g., feature usage, page dwell time), used for analytics and to improve user experience.

  • Diagnostics (Crash Data): Information on app crashes to help us enhance stability and performance.

  • Performance Data: Metrics about app performance to optimize functionality.

We do not collect or store personal content such as the content of your diary entries, your personal details, location specifics beyond coarse location, or your browsing history.

1.2 Local Data Storage

All data you provide—including diary entries, mood records, health data (if integrated with HealthKit), and other personal content—is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. We do not upload or store this data on our servers or any third-party servers, except as necessary for processing by authorized third-party services (detailed below).

1.3 Third-Party Services

Our App integrates the following third-party services solely for functionality and analytics:

  • Firebase Analytics: For collecting anonymous usage data.

  • Firebase Remote Config: For managing app configuration remotely.

  • RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.

These services collect only the minimal data required to perform their functions.

1.4 AI Analysis and Consultation

When you choose to use the AI Analysis and Consultation feature, the data you provide (such as diary entries, mood, and health data) is anonymized and sent to external AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI, Alibaba Cloud, DeepSeek, Google) for processing. Please note:

  • No personally identifiable information is shared with these AI providers.

  • Analysis results are returned directly to your device and stored locally.

  • AI service providers may temporarily store your data during processing; however, we cannot guarantee that this data will not be retained by these third-party providers for other purposes. For detailed information, please refer to the respective privacy policies of these providers.

1.5 Photo Uploads

If you upload photos (e.g., to accompany diary entries), these photos are stored locally on your device for your personal records only. They are not sent to AI providers or shared with any third parties.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected solely to deliver and improve the App's functionalities. Specifically, your data is used to:

  • Provide, maintain, and enhance the App's core features.

  • Personalize your experience and deliver tailored insights.

  • Offer AI Analysis and Consultation through trusted third-party providers.

  • Integrate health data via Apple HealthKit (if you choose to enable this feature).

  • Conduct anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand and improve app performance and user experience.

Note: All data remains stored locally on your device, and we do not upload your personal data to any remote server except as required for third-party processing as described above.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. It is not transferred or stored on our servers unless explicitly shared with external services for specific functionalities (e.g., AI analysis).

3.2 Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data using encryption and other standard security measures. However, the security of your data also depends on the security settings of your device (e.g., using a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID).

3.3 Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the App. If any data has been shared with third-party services, please consult their privacy policies for additional deletion procedures.

4. AI Analysis and Consultation

When you use our AI Analysis and Consultation feature:

  • Your input data is anonymized before being sent to our selected AI service providers.

  • No personally identifiable information is transmitted during processing.

  • Analysis results are returned directly to your device and stored locally.

  • While AI providers may temporarily store your data during processing, we cannot guarantee that such data will not be retained by these providers for other purposes. Please review the privacy policies of OpenAI, Alibaba Cloud, DeepSeek, or Google for more details.

This service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical, legal, or other professional advice.

5. User Rights

5.1 Access and Control

Since all data is stored locally, you have full control over your information. You can:

  • Edit or update your diary entries and other data directly within the App.

  • Delete all your data by uninstalling the App from your device.

5.2 Health Data Integration

You may enable or disable Apple HealthKit integration at any time, giving you full control over which health data is shared with the App.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as you use the App and until you delete it. Once the App is deleted from your device, all stored data is also deleted.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware of such data, we will take immediate action to delete it.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. When you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit, as we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via App Store update notes, website updates (visit: https://jzx997.wixsite.com/peach-journey-ios), or in-app notifications if available. By continuing to use the App after such changes are made, you agree to the updated Privacy Policy.
